I was born in Bavaria and as a child grew up in the Alps - my connection to nature has always been profound and source of life energy. I have always enjoyed being creative, and initially found myself after my fashion & arts design studies I working in France. Here I spent over 10 years working as a scenographer & video mapping artist for cultural events & tourism.

Looking for a new adventure in 2010 I decided to move to Berlin. After some time living in Europe’s vegan capital, with all its alternative life models, I was inspired to launch a food blog: allyouneedisveg.de. I soon became tired of living a life on the surface and quickly realized that I could no longer feel happy whilst ignoring the facts of the food industries - especially think about animal cruelty.

Then in 2015, I thought I was just taking part in a little hands-on trial in Lisbon at one of the most visited vegan restaurants at that time: “The Food-Temple”, This work experience transformed my life…and so a beautiful journey into the fantastic world of plant-based food began! Since then I have never stopped cooking and now enjoy life working as a plant-based Chef. I am also a certified Nutritionist, Consultant and the Founder of Lisbon Veg Food Lab.

Life as a chef in Lisbon then connected me to Vale de Moses. Cooking and experiencing life in a place like Vale de Moses, especially whilst immersed in nature, reminds me of my childhood. It brings back fond memories of climbing trees and listening to the birdsong above the sounds of the running stream. Vale de Moses gives me the unique opportunity to delve deeper into my passion - the essence of Yoga Food.

This magic place has all the ingredients I need to be a happy, performing cook:  a welcoming and warm-hearted environment, a wonderful team, and international guests who are on a variety of journeys towards plant-based food. I love the creative freedom to design menus and see the immediate energetic impact and delight my food has on our guests and the team.

Buddhist Chef Jeong Kwan, who I admire deeply, raises the idea that: “With food we can share and communicate our emotions. It´s that mind-set of sharing that is really what you re eating.” - I believe this to be so true and I have experienced it many times at Vale de Moses: Food truly is such a powerful tool to nurture our bodies and connect with others!
