Join us for a soul-nourishing escape to the lush forested valleys of Central Portugal for 5 nights of yoga, mindfulness, forest walks, and deep rest at the beautiful Vale de Moses Retreat. Nestled in a remote, rewilded corner of the Serra de Estrela foothills, Vale de Moses offers the perfect sanctuary for reconnecting with nature – and with yourself.

Led by experienced retreat facilitators Siôn Jones and Rosanna Gordon, this 6-day retreat invites you to immerse in the rhythms of the forest and the stillness of inner being. You’ll be guided through daily yoga and meditation practices, forest bathing walks, delicious homemade food, and time spent in community and solitude alike.

This is an invitation to come home to the Earth. You’ll practice in a stunning wooden yoga shala suspended above the valley, share stories by the fire under the stars, plunge into river pools, sweat in the forest sauna, and sleep peacefully in charming stone cottages or belle tents under the canopy of wild strawberry trees.

From live television and radio appearances to leading yoga and mindfulness retreats across the UK and Europe, Siôn is a true expert in the field. Whether you're seeking personal growth, inner peace, or simply a brighter outlook on life, Siôn will guide you on a journey of self-discovery and positive change.

- 200 hour Hatha yoga teaching certificate (Abhijna school of yoga, Kerala, India

- Qualified Zenways Mindfulness Meditation Teacher

- Youth Mindfulness Scheme accredited teacher

- Yoga Nidra Facilitator from the Yoga Nidra Network

ROSANNA JONES

Rosanna Gordon, a seasoned British Wheel of Yoga instructor, embarked on her yoga journey in 2007. With 15 years of teaching experience in diverse settings, she brings passion for health and wellbeing to her classes. Based in Liverpool, Rosanna offers dynamic Hatha-style group sessions and personalized One-to-One and Sports Yoga Classes. Tailoring each class to individual needs, she aims to boost mobility, enhance flexibility, strengthen core muscles, improve posture, and alleviate stress.

Travelling to us

We are located approximately 2.5 hours from both Lisbon and Porto and accessible by car, with a number of hire options available in both cities. For those looking to travel by public transport, we recommend travelling via Lisbon for regular Rede Expressos bus services to our local town of Oleiros, where we’ll pick you up for the short drive to the retreat.

Check in after 10am Monday morning or arrive with the 7am bus from Lisboa Sete Rios into Oleiros at 10.30am. Breakfast for you on arrival. At the end of the week depart with the 8am Saturday morning bus from Oleiros to Lisboa Sete Rios or check out by 10am if you are driving.
